I remember attending the first edition (and writing about it later here) of John Davis’s curation of film and music collaborations featuring transcendent and tender moments of collectivism.

Starting in 2019, John started commissioning a new cohort of artists for Gravity Spells II, of which I'm a grateful member along with

The piece I contributed builds on shelter-in-place performances by Dan Plonsey, Sarah Wilson, and Tom Yoder, loading dock meditations with bass drum, Jurassic electronics. It's part of a physical publication, which includes two LPs, four DVDs, a perfect bound letterpress booklet containing original commissioned essays, color images, artist bios, a silkscreened show poster and announcement card, packaged in a hand-printed sleeve now on sale.

The live show convening with Keith capitalizes on our long-standing otherness/ twinning that continues to surprise us both.

An evening of talking and trying with the large Ensemble Diglossia assembling to realize John Schott's durational performance of Thelonius Monk's 'Round Midnight over an eight hour session on the overnight of June 4th to 5th.
